Dear Forum Members:
I have a menu bar defined by CSS (.me) with a position:fixed property. With a screen resolution of 800×600 or greater, the whole menu bar shows, but with a screen resolution of less than 800×600, the menu bar is cut off by the bottom of the browser window. Since the menu bar is fixed, it doesn’t scroll.
I want to use JavaScript to test the client’s screen resolution, and if it’s less than 800×600, bypass the position:fixed property. How do I do this?
My menu bar CSS (.me) is below:
[quote]
.me
{
position:fixed;
margin:9% 0% 0% 1%; padding:0%;
width:22%;
float:left;
overflow:hidden;
}
p.s.: assume I’m a Javascript idiot.
