Alignment problem on dropdown menu

Hi,

Wasnt quite sure if this is a CSS or Javascript problem but I’ll start by posting here.

On my site
[url]http://www.stuartjonespianosales.com/index.php[/url] (the site isnt ‘live’ yet so you need the index.php)

in IE7 when you hover over the piano,stools or services menus the positioning is a bit out. Looking at the same page in Fireofx the menu dropdown is nicely positioned.

Any ideas?

@ray326Jul 29.2007 — Well it's probably not much help but it's got to be a difference in the way IE is calculating the position of top/left. Have you tried reseting ALL margins and padding? [B]* {margin:0;padding:0}[/B]

@CentauriJul 30.2007 — A play with the css, and a look through the menu code (I'm not a javascript programmer by any means), would suggest the javascript is wholly responsible for the positioning of the dropdowns, overriding any css.

Personally, I would drop this script and opt for the suckerfish style dropdowns - at least they are completely configurable via css, and don't rely on javascript for their operation in better browsers.
