Help Badly Needed

Hi guys!

I really need your help on this one: I would like to create a website and as I am on web designing, I thought it would be better to ask to people who know how to deal with it.

Here I go:

The website is intended to present a small hotel on the net. The hotel needs food suppliers and has a part of the website dedicated to them. These suppliers need to access the website so that they can be provided with summary booking information to help them judge when peak times will occur.

The suppliers can also access pages specific to them showing estimated booking for the next 2 weeks. These pages should have a secure system to be accessed.

Will password protection be a good way to secure these pages? For the summary booking and estimated booking pages, how will it be possible to present them? Will I need to input a database in the website for the booking estimations?

Please, I really need the most of your help to direct me creating this site…

@PeOfEoAug 18.2003 — Yea nothing client side like that is sequre because the user can always view the code and no matter how many safe guards you try to add to client side scripts, there is always the fact that it is on the users machine in their history and can be opend from there.
