How to make a poll?

Ok, I would like to make a poll that shows the results once you post. I have a feeling this is PHP and not HTML. Please help me out on this.

i recently wrote a quick poll code myself, you can check it out here: http://dawarriah.universalpalace.net/crossfade/?id=s_poll - download the zip file and you can learn from the code if you wish - just dont rip it?
