Installing Zend Optimizer on localhost…?

Hi, Zend optimizer is running fine on my remote server (cuz the hosts know what their doing unlike myself 😮 )…

…now I’m attempting to install [B]zend optimizer v.2.6.2[/B] on my local [B]WinXP/Apache2 test server[/B] which has [B]5.2.3 PHP [/B]installed, but I think I’m placing the zend files in the wrong directory during installation.

The zend manual completely omits exactly [COLOR=”Red”]IN WHICH DIRECTORY [/COLOR]the program (or various files) should be placed during the install process. I’ve look at numerous sources to find a step-by-step configuration doc for installing zend locally, but no luck, every1 seems to inheirently know where to install this file except me lol…

Can you please help me, or tell me if I’m missing something about this process all together, or if another php.ini file is needed besides the one in my php5 folder or something?

System Info:
XP, Apache2, PHP 5.2.3
