SEARCH method XmlHTTPRequest

Hey guys,

I’m trying to write a little ditty that will access a specified Microsoft Exchange server using a WEBDAV connection, and count the messages and return the number. I know that the XMLHttpRequest object

What I was going to say was, I know that the XMLHttpRequest object only supports the standard HTTP methods. However the method that I need to use is the "SEARCH" method. Does anyone know of a work around that I can use to solve this?

@rootJul 15.2007 — May be it only supports HTTP but you can pull data via a serverside that you make up a request and the serverside responds with a data that your page then uses.
