syntax help

Hello to all,

Can someone tell me how to avoid syntax error of “‘” if I want to display it inside string like this syntax error?echo “Member’s ID”)? What is the command to avoid this?

Is it same as addslashes() same as ""?

I've tried echo "member's ID"; (It can work but is it the correct way?)
