CSS thumbnail gallery with hover

i’m trying to create a webpage using this demo from css play:
http://www.cssplay.co.uk/menu/lightbox3

in addition to the hover thumbnail, i am also trying to create more links that surround the entire box and not just the 3 links at the top of the box…another words, liknks on the sides and bottom of the box also.

with my limited knowledge of coding, i’ve tried to delete unneccessary coding, but cannot seem to make it work after i viewed the source.

can somebody help this caveman and edit the code so i can use just the demo?

@Major_PayneJul 09.2007 — You need to read the author's copyright notice at the bottom of his page first. Then, you are going to need both CSS files as well as the code you see in view source. Instead of posting your code here, i would rather see what you have done on your page online. Can you upload it to your host?

@fulcortauthorJul 09.2007 — actually, i contacted the author himself and he replied:

Now that would be really difficult to do with CSS as the positioning

of the thumbnails would need to change relative to the extra links at the

sides and bottom.

Would it not be possible to have all these extra links along the top and

just reduce the width of each one to make them fit in one line?

Best wishes,

with my limited knowledge of coding, if it's extremely difficult for the author, it would probably be impossible for me, so i've given up the layout and went with another thumbnail gallery.

maybe it's possible...but i think he was seeking a donation first which is very reasonable, but i opted out for a simpler thumbnail layout.

but i do need help with browser compatibility issues with my other layout.

see my other post...thanks for replying.

@Major_PayneJul 09.2007 — Thanks for posting back with that bit of information. Have no idea where your other post is and do not have the time right now to search.
