PHP image drawing support

The server hosting two of our sites recently moved one of them to one of their newer ones. When they did this my CAPTCHA images stopped working on the moved site, I asked them if they supported gd and if php_gd2.dll was enabled, they said yes but I still couldn’t get my php image drawn.

I put up a phpinfo() on both sites, and on the site where CAPTCHA was working (Ver 5.0.4) there was a mention of gd being enabled for a bunch of different image formats(Version: bundled (2.0.28 compatible)). On the site where CAPTCHA wasn’t working (Ver 5.2.1) there’s no mention.

Hmm. Before I bring this up with them, there’s not the possibility that with php 5.2.1 gd support simply isn’t mentioned or something is there? I don’t want to look like an ass here.

@chrisranjanaJun 28.2007 — If you could post a snippet of what PHPINFO's output under the heading GD is then it will be more clearer for what image types the support is missing ?
