how to simulate mouse click event?

Hi guys,

For instance, I got a div like below:

<div id=”iphone”></div>

how can I use javascript to simulate a mouse click on it event? Thanks !

And I got like 3 tabs ... and depending on the url parameter, if says http://www.123.com?status=1 , tab 1 will be displayed first. And if status-2, tab 2 will be displayed first etc ....
