Using Databse with Multi Value Drop Down List?

I am using the script found here…

and I would like to use it with a lot of options… I am very unfamiliar with databases. Really, I would like to know about the possibility of having something like this…

field one would be the selections
field two would be the value attached to the selection?

If anyone can direct me to a basic database to website tutorial, that would be greatly appreciated!!

@landslideJun 28.2007 — It is possible to do that you have to set up a option vaule for each item. Then depending on what was selected it will put different items into the database.
