is there a way to get color value using mouse hover?

hello…

im wondering if there is a way for getting the color value using mouseHover and javascript?… if there someone who know how to do it plss share your knoledge.. thanks in advance…

@A1ien51Jun 26.2007 — If you are talking of an element, you can look into get computed style.

If you are talking some color on an image. JavaScript does not have that built in. Not sure if Canvas would be able to pull it off.

If you are looking to do it just so you can use it personally, you can look into Firefox extensions that do it and the IE developer toolbar.
