eliminating shortest distances between points

ok hi
i got some problems here. So I have db with list of latitudes and longitudes
I want to either select or output to array points that have more then 1km in distance between each other. If the link the link is less then 1km i just neglect that point.

the problem is that i can not arange coordinates, so i can have 1st link between 2 points = 1 km but then i will have another point at the end that can violate that or something.

Well im confused,.. can some one help me?
I’m suck with geo applications
