Urgent… confirmation message box for drop down list

Hi.

We are using master page in asp.net. We have dropdown list box in our project. The dropdown list is having numeric. like 1, 2 ,3 ,4 … etc…

Suppose Currently the dropdown list is showing 6. If I select less then 6 so I need to show a confirmation message box for this at client side. At the same time after clicking on YES client side and server side events should be fired.
