Hi,
I’ve got a C++ dll, VB activeX that wraps the c++, and a javascript page.
I need to instantiate the vb ActiveX object and call its function in Javascript.
Below is part of my coding on instantiating the activeX.
<code>
var vbx = new ActiveXObject(“Project1.VBXCtrl”)
var Init = vbx.test_Init()
var Reset = vbx.test_Reset()
var Status = vbx.test_CardStatus()
var Data = vbx.test_Data()
</code>
The fist 4 line is OK and I am able to retrieve the passed back value.
However the last line is causing my IE to throws out an error.
The last function call is actually calling the C++ function which revolves around pointer.
My guess would be that Javascript is unable to handle it(the pointer/dynamic allocation of value).
How would I go around on this in Javascript?
FYI, I am able to call the last function above through my VB control. This means the function is working well.
Thanks for your input..
