fileowner on IIS 6 returns 0

I am using PHP 5.2 on IIS 6. In one of the tasks we need is to get the file owner. Basically people copy files onto a public drive, this maintains the original file owner, and then we use a sync tool to sync the network drive to the webserver. However when i use fileowner on any of these files, i get “0” returned no matter who the owner is.

I’m not even sure if this will be useful as the posix functions arent even availble on windows.

So is there any way PHP can grab the file owner on a windows box?

Thanks
