Lately, I have encountered, other competing sites copying my contents.

I have decided to use oncopy property like this:

<head>

<script type=”text/javascript”>
function disp_alert()
{
alert(‘All rights reserved(c)-dont use this content without permission’);
}
</script>
</head>

<body oncopy=”disp_alert()”>

The problem is that my page turns to not Valid XHTML 1.0 Strict using the validator of w3 dot org

I get error message:
Error Line 24 column 13: there is no attribute “oncopy

Is there any way to do so (displaying alert when someones copies my content) without making my page inavlid
Thank you
