Front Page of Google

I have a client that wishes to reach the front page of Google when you search keywords from his site.

He is in the garment industry and is located in the Caribbean.

When he types garments caribbean or clothing, fabrics, and caribbean, his website does not show up.

He has these keywords on his website and in his meta tags.

What else must be done so that his website shows up on the main page of google.

Is there payments he can make to search engines like google, yahoo and msn to get to the front page?
What must be done? Please inform me. He is waiting on a full page report about what must be done in order to be #1.

He wants paid and free solutions.

The first thing is to ensure that the page really is coded properly. Can you post a link?

The most important thing is that you receive backlinks with the anchor 'Caribbean Clothing'

The search term isn't too competitive. Take a look at the exact match results for 'Caribbean Clothing'. Approx 21,000 results in G. I would estimate that approx 12 to 15 backlinks with the proper anchor would get your site in the top 5.

But you should really post a link to your site in order for us to take a look.

@stacywacyJun 28.2007 — Getting backlinks is getting other sites to link to your site - hopefully with some good keywords in the anchor text. Find sites similar to yours and ask to exchange links. Also directories are a good place for backlinks. Some offer reciprocal links, some are free, and some are paid directories. Also, adding a link to your site in your signature on the forums you participate is also a good backlink for your site.
