Email problem – Background images not displaying

Hi there

I am having a problem with sending out an emailer using signatures.

I have attached the files that im using. (back.jpg – is coming from the internet,)

I have created some HTML. I created a new signature in Microsoft outlook and tested it by sending it to myself and sending it to a yahoo account. In yahoo it displays fine, but in outlook, no background image appears.

I need this emailer to sit in the email and not be an attchemnt – ie. I dont want an HTML attachment.

Can anyone assist me

@KDLAMay 16.2007 — It's a security setting, and not purely an Outlook problem. You'll experience this same problem in MSN, Hotmail, and other programs. The user will have to OK the image display before it shows.

@felgallMay 16.2007 — If you want images to show in emails then you need to embed them in the email and not link them from the web. All sensible people have linked images disabled in order to reduce the chances of spammers obtaining their email address as can be done via linked images (even a 1x1 transparent image that isn't even visible can be used to log email addresses of the people who view the email with linked images enabled).
