[RESOLVED] php mysql getting 1 result

I have a query the will only return 1 result. The problem is though that I cannot find any information on how to use it in the code.

i have

[code=php]
 $result = querydatabase ($query);
while($row = mysql_fetch_row($result))
{
$images = $row[0];
}
[/code]

but this seems like alot of code and a pointless loop since I will only be getting 1 value. What are the commands that I am looking for?

@JayMMay 15.2007 — The code you have right there is perfectly fine, tia. Since you're only fetching one record, it's not a pointless loop because it will only go through it once and exit.
