Form values to new window using javascript?

Ive got an xhtml document containing a form for the user to fill.
In that document i also have a javascript document to validate the data
and check for any empty fields.

My question:
Is it possible by clicking on the form submit button, a new window to be displayed containing what the user has entered in the form of the previous window?
i.e transfer the form values from one window to another ?

all this just by using javascript.. Can i do that?

@holyhttpMay 07.2007 — First you have to name the woindow where the form data will be transferred.

Then windowname.htmlElementname.value=.....
