can someone help me?

Is there such a javascript code that can help me with my problem? I need a javascript code that would refresh an internal file on my directory without loading it to the browser. Let’s say I have two files: an html and PHP file on the same directory. Here’s what I want to do: whenever I’m loading the ajax.html to the browser, there’s a button that if clicked will refresh the PHP file(internalrequest.php) without loading the PHP file to the browser. Is that possible?

Thank you very much in advance! ?

@ricpMay 05.2007 — By the sounds of it you are talking about xmlhttp, especially so as you've called your page ajax.html.

You can read more about xmlhttp here: http://faq.ii.no/xmlhttp

However I am not clear on exactly what it is you are trying to do. You will need to clarify what "refresh" means in this context.
