Dragging windows bug

Hi,

I have a basic MDI finished except for one annoying bug. In IE 7/FF 1.5/Opera 9.2 when you drag a window the mouse position in the window is lost and the window zeroes onto the mouse cursor.

How do I get the distance between the mouse cursor and the edge of the window frame?

Cheers

when you drag a window the mouse is no longer in the window-

you can get the position of the window, relative to the screen with screenX and screenY.

@fkrauthorApr 21.2007 — I can get the position of the window by parsing the left and top values.

What I mean is, when I start dragging a window it automatically shifts so that the top left of the window is where the mouse is.
