Page Addresses

Ive Construct a website which uses AJAX requests to swap the content of each page much like how frames work, Area for menu, Nav Bar and Body etc. But Just Like with frames how do I store the particular page that is being displayed for the user of the site for bookmarking etc. Becasue the pages URL will remain the same even though the content can be one of many variations.

Can this be done?
How Do I do it?
