css menu… in IE

Ok, I’m sort of new to some of this css and I tried my hand at my first css menu. It seems to work in fire fox and safari but not even close in Internet explorer. Parts of the menu go invisible, the second level of the menu does not show up at all.

Here is a link so you everyone can see what I’ve got so far. Can anyone help me will a fix to get this working in IE.
