I have a question. I am trying to figure out if there is software available (preferably free) that would allow someone who I give access to to post documents to our FTP server and then make the documents available to everyone who is in the password protected area. For example, say you have a baseball team website. You have the public part of that page that all visiting people can see (team info, pictures, etc) and then you have the private part (probably protected by htaccess), which is just for the team members. Is there a program that would allow the coach (also a team member, able to access the private area too) to post a roster directly onto the website, and create a database of the files he uploads for the players to download? I know you can just put a link off of a HTML page, however, it makes it hard for multiple people to add documents to the database. Let me know if you don’t understand the question, and any help/advice is appreciated. Thanks a lot.
