Boxes not displaying correctly.

Working on my latest site and overall it’s coming along well, buuuuttttt…..

http://media-demon.com/test101.html

I’m viewing this in Opera (haven’t checked in others yet) and the three boxes on the right are scrunching up at the bottom, where as they are supposed to be stacked neatly next to the boxes on the left.

This happened after I seperated the Introduction and Adverts boxes, as they originally were joined together.

I don’t know why they’ve scrunched down there, and more importantly, I don’t know how to correct them!

Does anyone know how I can fix this? (Any other general tips on improvements, and feedback would be appreciated also.)

Thanks in advance.

(By the way, I was unsure which forum to put this in, so I apologise if I chose the wrong one.)

@ray326Apr 06.2007 — First off it looks like you may need a wrapper with a fixed width around the whole page.

@DemonauthorApr 06.2007 — Hello Ray,

Aye, that's to stop it crunching together when I minimise the browser window isn't it? I wouldn't know how to stick a wrapper around it though, could you tell me how please?

Unimportantly, my name is Ray too. ?

@ray326Apr 07.2007 — Add width:900px; margin: 0 auto; to the body style and shrink your left-bar width down to about 650px. Then instead of floating the right-bar give it a margin-left of about 670px.

@DemonauthorApr 07.2007 — Unfortunately that did not work, but on another forum it was suggested that I wrap a DIV around the right boxes, and set that div to float. This worked a charm.

Thank you for your efforts, much appreciated. ?

A wrapper with a fixed width, even with it's now-happenstance horizontal scrollbar, would at least keep your content on the same level as the ads (or whatever) that are on the right..

Your main content 'drops below' the column that is floated to the right when re-sizing.
