[RESOLVED] Back Button Does not work on my site

Hi,

I have a problem, i have created a website, which uses javascript to re-direct people to a different page depending on there screen resolution. although i don’t think that is causing the problem.

My problem is that when someone is viewing my website, they can use the back button to go back through pages viewed within in it, but once your in my website you can’t use the back button to exit from my site to where you came from, Check it out for your selves: http://www.evergreen-direct.com.
I can’t see what i have done to stop it working.

Any help would be very much appricated.

Thank you,

Matt

@LeeUMar 28.2007 — Your redirect breaks the back button. Check this.

although, one more question, i have searched the net to find a source code i could copy, but i cannot find anything, i'm fairly new to this so it all sort of goes over my head! do you know a website that would publish such code?

Thank you for your help, it is much Appricated,

Matt

@The_MagusApr 10.2007 — I notice you posted this on 29 Mar and have not had a reply.

I suspect the reason is that you have not been specific in what source code you are looking for. You can view the source code of every web page you view by clicking on the view button of your browser but I am sure that is not what you want.

Please indicate what you want the code to do and I am sure you will get some valid advice - ask and ye shall receive but first viewers have to know what it is you are asking for.

Cheers

Jack

@Matthew_BeerauthorApr 10.2007 — Thank you for replying to my question.

I Was not looking for any source code, I had a problem with the back button on the browser window.

But i Have managed to sort the problem, it was due to to two peices of script working against each other. one of which was the re-direction code mentioned by LeeU above.

Thanks again

Matthew.
