Staging Server

Is anyone out there running a staging server and a production server in a windows environment?

We are looking to have a set up where files are pushed from a staging server to production. We could do all of this manually, but are looking for software, or an app that would handle this for us. Does anyone know of anything like that?

@ray326Mar 22.2007 — It sort of depends on your overall development environment. If it's straight Web sites and the servers are configured the same and the markup doesn't reference the server names (i.e. relative vs absolute URLs) then a simple (network) file system copy works fine. You may be able to optimize that using rsync, make or ant to just copy changed artifacts. Some app environments (e.g. Visual Interdev and other MS design time control driven environments) are so tied to their IDEs that you HAVE to publish out of the IDE a version that is tailored to the target (host, database URLs, etc).
