Hosting a simple pdf to download

Hi everyone,

I am pulling my hair out trying to do the simplest thing. I want my customers to be able to download a instruction pdf via a link to the file on a html web page. I thought it would be as simple as linking the link to the file source but is not working, could someone please point out my mistake?

This is the code:

To download mail order assembly instruction please click <a href=”images/Assembly_Instructions.pdf” target=”_blank”>here</a>

Any help would be much appreciated

@FangMar 17.2007 — Double check the path and file name.

@educatedartauthorMar 18.2007 — Cheers guys, I tried both of your suggestions, it turns out the pdf had been corrupted whilst transferring to the server, it works fine now.

Thank you ?
