dynamic image display on select

Hi All,

I am a newbie in javascript and thats why again I am here.

What I am trying to do is there will be a single input file box.One selects a image by clicking the browse button and then that image will be displayed below.

and if he selects one again then the 2nd image will also display below…this process will go on till 8 images are selected.

What I was planning to do but dont know the exact syntax that it:
1.get the filename + physical path of the file from the input box
2.display the image in <img src=”value from the input box”>

these 2 things I want to do…..but it will go on till 8.Please suggest me how can i write it in syntax of javascript
