ActiveX control in IE7

I have small problem, I am building website for my uncle, he is realtor and I am trying to put on front page small flash gallery where you can see new listings. But I just found out that in the new IE7 every time when I go on the page whit the flash gallery I have to activate the ActiveX control. That will be very inconvenient for the people. So I was thinking if there is code in HTML or Java or some other what I can use to bypass the IE7, and the page load whit the gallery without people have to activate the ActiveX control.

@_Aerospace_Eng_Mar 10.2007 — No not Java, Javascript yes. Don't confuse Java and Javascript. They are two totally different languages. You will need to use javascript to get around the issue. Its not just IE7 either. IE6 does the same thing.

@kiwibritMar 10.2007 — I am uneasy about this. The need to acitvate an ActiveX control was introduced to stop malicious ActiveX controls from non-trusted sites. That seems to me to be a good thing. Promoting the use of javascript to overcome the "problem" encourages the viewpoint that javascript should be disabled on browsers for security reasons.

Now I think that would be a shame; javascript has its place - for example, it's invaluable for validating forms prior to submission.

But maybe this should be the subject of a separate thread - if I get a round tuit ?

You know Microsoft have no business to do this only think I won is to put pictures slideshow on my web, and there is no reasons I shoot have such a problem whit it.
