Is This Impossible (ie: Is This XSS?)

I currently have a frames page setup – loading a page from my server in one frame and another, third-party, site in the other. This third-party site isn’t one I have any control over and can in fact be any site on the Internet.

What I am attempting to do is parse through all of the links on that third-party site and modify the href and target values of each (which would ultimately cause any links to load up in this framed setup I have established).

This would basically fake a sidebar. Unfortunately I can’t quite seem to get it working and I am fairly confident it is impossible. I’ve been attempting to use PHP/CURL for the past 2 days but it’s iffy at best (images, links, stylesheets, flash, all have to be parsed out to absolute links.

Any ideas?

@konithomimoMar 04.2007 — You cannot modify anything from a page on another server. The latest versions of IE wont even allow you to access the source code of pages from other sites/servers.
