Simple Form (PHP Code & Flash)

I am trying to create a simple form within flash using php code.
I already have code working using php code, so I somewhat know the basics of form submission.
I am aware I will need code in flash as well as php.

My problem is getting the code to do the same work within flash.
Here is a sample of just a few of my values I am collecting presently within the php code:

<input type=hidden name=”PartNo” value=”00407″>
<input type=hidden name=”Weight” value=”.25″>

My ideal setup would be either using dropdowns and checkboxes…
Yet part of me wants to do nice with animated controls.

If anyone can answer my questions…here they are numbered…
Please include corresponding number response with answer.

Questions:

1.) What code will set values accordingly and submit at end? (IN FLASH)

2.) Is using dropdowns & checkboxes an easier option than animated buttons as far as for coding?

Please include code suggestions for flash & php file.
Tutorial appreciated.
