Best WIKI and why?

I am looking for a good wiki that is fairly simple to implement, looks decent, and intuitive for users. I would like to hear anyone’s opinion on which FREE WIKI is the best and why.

Here is the one I just installed last night. It is pmwiki and it isn’t too bad, but I don’t want to go too far into it if there is something better.

I think the best would have to be MediaWiki because that is the one www.wikipedia.org uses therefore a lot of people know how to use it.

@ThereminauthorFeb 10.2007 — cool thx bathurst. that is what I wanted actually. I thought wikipedia might have had their own proprietary wiki software so I didnt think to look for that.
