I made a registration page and a php script to handle the info. I have been using it for several weeks now, testing it and other pages, and it have been working fine. All of a sudden yesterday afternoon when I went to go register a new account the page lagged and just showed a white screen. I can bring up the register page and the processing page separately without any problem. It is when I submit the form to be process by the other page that it just crashes. It has worked fine for several weeks and I have not made any changes to the code of either of the pages. What I have been working on is a upload page and displaying a progress bar while the file is uploading. I have actually been able to show a bar and all seemed to be working fine until yesterday afternoon. I went to try to upload a file to show a colleague and all of a sudden the upload page with the progress bar crashed, and then when I went to try to make a new registration that crashed also. It is really weird, and doesn’t make any sense to me. Does anyone know what might be going on to cause the pages that worked fine all of a sudden to crash and just get really slow. All the scripts work fine, when I try to register, the info is entered into my database and when i try to upload a file the file is uploaded but my pages are not displaying correctly afterwards. They just go to a white screen or hang on the current page and don’t go anywhere.
