Extracting data from Excel spreadsheet

Hi All

I am not sure if I am in the correct place, however I will post here and run the gauntlet.

I am wanting to publish information from 2 excel spreadsheets into a webpage that is to be displayed on a wall using a projector.

I have to projector image down pat however using the excel spreadsheets to extract the data (live) and update the display is beyond me.

I need the information to be toggled between the 2 excel spreadsheets. (or scrolling is fine)

Basically they are 2 sales spreadsheets and the GM wants the sales team to see all the information at regular intervals.

So to recap … I need to display to excel spreadsheets onto a projected screen using as little space as required (as I am projecting other images as well).

@CrazyMerlinJan 30.2007 — so you want a small script that will get the data dynamically?

well, as this is an in-house project, browser preference is not a problem, so obviously you would use IE.

you can embed an excel spreadsheet into a webpage using the excel activeX control.

take a look on msdn.com about it, and if you are still lost, post back.
