menu using css

i am having problem with the menus. i am using css. the alignment of the text is always centered. i tried text-align:left; but still it does not change. also the submenus are also aligned same way. i want to change the settings of the submenu. i am also not able to add sub-menus for the sub-menu.
ie A->B->C. iam able to add B but not C. also i need to place two pictures in each menu and different one for each menu. can you please help me solve these problems… :rolleyes:
