Saving/Downloading mp3 Files

Hey,

Just wondering if anyone can help?!?!?!?!

Im a little stuck with the javascript on this one. I can open the link to the mp3 file which is located on my server so that the track plays, however i want a function whereby i can click on a button and it will download, therefore saving the file onto the users computer. Is this at all possible and if so how do i go about it???

Please help, it is very much appreciated

@foid025Jan 23.2007 — I know its possible with PHP, and I can give you the script to do that if you want. I don't know about using Javascript though... This is a server side problem, cause you need to edit headers and all. Let me know if you want the PHP code though and I'll pull it up.
