Script to reveal name of image?

I am developing a photo webpage with a set of thumbnail images. When you click on one of the TNs, a full-size view of that image is displayed next to the TN. There is no room for image names on the page TNs. Is there a javascript that will allow me to show each TN’s name in a text box below the full-size image when it appears? Thanks much for any help you can provide.
