Help! DTree Problem….

I am not Javascript savy so I’ll appologize up front.

I am working on a Joomla Site using a component called [URL=”http://www.sigsiu.net/forum/”]SOBI2[/URL]. It uses a script called [URL=”http://www.destroydrop.com/javascripts/tree/”]dTree[/URL]

There is a problem with this script; when there is a large number of categories it times out and is extremely slow. The script is from 2003 and I’m hoping someone with Javascript know how can guide me to the light.
