How to display current url in top frame?

Hi,

[url]www.goome.co.nz[/url]

What i want to be able to do is when you search for something e.g you select “youtube” and search for “cars” and then click on the first video in youtube. I want to display the current url ([url]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-FlGybEZfY8[/url]) in the top frame.

At the moment the original content is being showen. Is there any way that the current url can be displayed?

@pentaceJan 07.2007 — I would say yes and no. As it is now no, because when yous earch youtube and click the link, the link is hard coded tot heir page to launch in its own window. The only way i know of doing what you are trying to do is somewhat like waht im trying to find help doing, and that is haveing js access the page you searched and pull information from it which i cannot seem tog et with a live web page only with offline. unless u know how youtube searches and u build your own yutube search engine

@ricpJan 07.2007 — Yeh, you would need to search youtube and return the results to the page on your domain. As pentace says you can't access a frame on another domain via client side script.
