IE Back button issue

Hi All,

We have developed a dynamic website (CMS) and all the pages will get displayed to the user dynamically.

All the links are associated with a page same file (i.e index.php) will only get called while clicking any of links.

For Example:
index.php?type=aboutus, index.php?type=support, etc..

The problem is while clicking the IE back button, it shows a warning that page has expired and i need to refresh the page again. We are using IE 6 and not able to replicate this issue here. But the client needs to solve this issue.

Pls provide me a solution for this problem. Thanks in advanve.

@JeremyMillerJan 08.2007 — Sounds like the browser is set to not cache things at all and when you go back, it informs the user that it's not cached locally. Try modifying the header ( www.php.net/header ) to cache the page or modify the expiration date.

IE Back button is working fine in our systems. The problem is that it is not working in client systems. We are not able to replicate the same issue here in IE6.

Note: We haven't set and cache-limiters. This is for your info.
