save as button

hello all
I have a text area, and I need a button near it which when clicked it will save the content of the text area into a file.
any help?

@CharlesJan 02.2007 — #You will need to put that textarea into a proper form that submits itself to a simple little server side script. The server side script will then return the contents with a MIME type "application/octet-stream".
