previewing content on mouse over

Hi.

I’m trying to build what I thought was a simple thing: a webpage with links and when the mouse is over one of the links, there is an area that shows text and images, sort of a preview of what you may find if you click that link.

I thought about using a div for that area but I can’t seem to find a way to load the content I need into it. For organization purposes I created separate .html files with the preview content and ideally those files would be loaded into the div using the onMouseOver behavior.

Despite some research, I’m still not very experienced and haven’t been able to find the best way to achieve this, perhaps using a div isn’t even a possibility. Can anyone shed some light on this, please? Thank you in advance.

@KDLADec 28.2006 — The easiest thing to do would be to take screenshots of the webpages, then use a script like [url="http://www.dyn-web.com/dhtml/tooltips/tip-txt-img.html"]this[/url].
