Someone's used javascript to keep me from highlighting text on his page (which is difficult to read because of contrast issues), and there's so much coding that viewing the code's just as much of a pain. And the browser I'm using doesn't have something that will disable javascript.
@mrhooDec 17.2006 — #If the text you want to read is in the source,open the source in a text editor, comment out the scripts, (not strictly necessary, but may avoid some error messages) save it as an html file, and open the neutered file in your browser.
But- I haven't yet seen a browser that won't let you disable javascript.
Most will even let you 'permanently' disable it for specific sites and servers. Could you use another browser just for problem pages?
