Icons in Address Bar

I see more and more websites that have a personalized icon to the left of the address in the address bar. How is this done? Is it sometihng easy? Please advise.

@LeeUDec 11.2006 — #They're called "favicons". You can search the forums ... they have been discussed many times.

Yes, it can be a gif/jpg/png/ico/etc...
