Okay,
I’m pretty good with HTML, but sometimes you just get that one thing that just stumps the hell out of you. Since I’ve never seen this bug before, I thought I’d post it and ask for help.
When you go to [URL=http://www.wickedsmaat.com]my site
Here’s the problem. My wife was navigating to the site on her computer, and she said she didn’t see the button. I checked it out on her computer & sure as poop, the button doesn’t show up! However, it DOES show up on my computer. I used the ‘view source’ option on her computer and saw that the link for the button was there, but the actual <img> tag was missing. I did the same thing on my computer and it was all there.
Why would her computer (and presumably others) just ommit a certain line of code? HOW would a browser just leave out a line of code 😡 ?!?
Here is the line being left out on my wife’s interpretation of my ‘index.php’ page:
[CODE]<img src=”http://ec1.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/gifts/registries/wishlist/v2/web/wl-btn-129-b._V52198553_.gif” width=”129″ alt=”View The WickedSmaat Gift List . . . ” height=”42″ border=”0″ /></a>
Like I said, that line is present in the file I have stored locally & remotely on the server . . . so I KNOW IT’S REALLY THERE. But why is her computer choosing to leave that specific line out & how is it doing that???
ANY HELP ON THIS PERPLEXING ISSUE IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.
p.s. — it’s not her security settings in IE either, I already thought of that one. All other images called via the <img src> tag display just fine, it just this one.
