linking from a value called?

Hi,

Quick question.

If i’m using this to get the value of a value website

[code=php]echo $obj->website;[/code]

But if I want to make this a link – ie to itself how would I do this. I thought:

[code=php]echo <a href=’$obj->website’>$obj->website</a>;[/code]

Also how would this work with mailto also?

Although using this in my IF statement sends the message:

[b]Unsupported operand types [/b]

On that line

[code=php]
<?php
if ( $obj-url )
{
echo "<a href='{$obj->url}'>{$obj->url}</a>";

}
else
{
echo "n/a";
}
?>
[/code]

Is that reffering to my "'s or {}'s Can anyone please advise?
