Liquid font help! I am making a layout for my blog. the idea is to have it as liquid as possible. So it works everywhere. I have been reading out about liquid fonts…err so how should i do to make the size contant in a liquid way on all browsers? % or px?
"The 'em' unit is equal to the computed value of the 'font-size' property of the element on which it is used. The exception is when 'em' occurs in the value of the 'font-size' property itself, in which case it refers to the font size of the parent element."
Does it means that it it adds the font size of the parent and the specified EM size to get the one shown on screen?
@WebJoelNov 30.2006 — #For clarity's sake, perhaps instead of calling this "liquid font" which I didn't find any referance to, it should be referred to as 'scalable font', which is what it actually does. -It 'scales' (changes size) on user-devices if given in "%" or "em". "Liquid" generally refers to a site's overall "layout" (which, admittedly, also 'scales'). :o
